Grandmaster Michalik originally started Martial Arts in 1968. Throughout his career, he has studied Judo, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Unarmed Combat, Jeet Kune Do, Jiu Jitsu, Bojuka and Aikido. Grand Master presently holds the ranks of Brown belt in Judo, 5th Dan in Tae Kwon Do, 6th Dan in Combat Kempo, Specialist level four in Bojuka, 5th Dan in Hapkido and 5th Dan in Jiu Jitsu. He was a member of the Montcalm Secondary School Judo Team for four years and trainer of the Royal Canadian Regiment Special Service Force Unarmed Combat Team from 1990 to 1992. He also fought full contact, Tae Kwon Do for four years.
